The second half saw United FC struggle to find their footing, and Masafi FC extended their lead with another goal in the 55th minute. However, United FC’s spirit remained unbroken. In the 68th minute, captain Ahmed Sulaiman brought the team back into the game with a goal from a free kick rebound.

The situation became even more challenging when Ebrahim Hassan received a red card, reducing United FC to nine players.
