Austria Camp, Five Friendlies, Three Wins and Two Draws: Our Team Steps Up Preparations for the ADNOC Pro League

Our team stepped up preparations for the new season and its first challenge in the ADNOC Pro League with a successful pre-season camp in Austria, held from September 6 to October 2, before returning to Dubai to continue the training programme ahead of the upcoming competitive fixtures.

Under the guidance of Italian head coach Andrea Pirlo, the coaching staff focused on enhancing the team’s physical and technical readiness, while also assessing the players and implementing tactical ideas and playing principles through a series of friendly matches against opponents of different levels.

During the camp, our team played five friendly matches, recording three wins and two draws.

The team began its friendly campaign with a 3-2 victory over Metta, followed by an emphatic 5-1 win against Auda. Our team then held Red Bull Salzburg to a 1-1 draw before securing another victory, defeating LASK 2-1. The team concluded its series of friendlies with a 2-2 draw against Qatar’s Al Gharafa.

Following the return to Dubai, our team entered the next phase of its preparations, continuing intensive training sessions with the aim of completing its physical and technical build-up and reaching peak readiness ahead of the start of the new season.
