United FC Shows Fighting Spirit Against Fujairah FC, Focus Shifts to Dubai Derby
On December 13, United FC faced Fujairah FC at Fujairah Stadium in a demanding away fixture that ended in a 4–2 defeat. Despite the result, the match once again highlighted the team’s character and willingness to fight until the very end.
The game started with high intensity, and United FC responded well to early pressure. In the 14th minute of the first half, Cedrick Nana found the back of the net to equalize the score, showing great awareness and composure in front of goal.
The match remained competitive, but Fujairah FC managed to regain the lead. United FC continued to push forward and, in the 70th minute, Cedrick Nana stepped up once again, scoring his second goal of the night to bring the score level for the second time. His performance was a clear highlight, underlining his importance to the team’s attacking play.
Unfortunately, despite the effort and momentum, United FC conceded two more goals, allowing Fujairah FC to pull away and claim the victory. The final score stood at 4–2.
While the result was disappointing, this match does not define the team. United FC showed heart, resilience, and attacking quality, and there are important lessons to take as the season continues. Now, it’s time to move forward — together.
The focus now shifts to a big one — the Dubai Derby. United FC will face Gulf United FC on December 20 at ISD Stadium Pitch.
