United FC Wins First Home Game of the Season at ISD Stadium Pitch

On September 28, United FC played their first home match of the 2025/2026 First Division League season at ISD Stadium Pitch, hosting City FC in what turned out to be a tense and exciting game.

Both teams fought hard from the very beginning, with City FC showing resilience and making it difficult for United FC to find clear scoring opportunities. The first half ended goalless, but the home fans kept pushing the team forward, creating a strong atmosphere at ISD Stadium Pitch.

The breakthrough finally came early in the second half. In the 47th minute, Brahima Ouattara found the back of the net with a decisive strike that proved to be the game winner. His goal lifted the team and gave United FC the momentum they needed to control the remainder of the match.

Despite City FC’s attempts to respond, United FC’s defense held strong until the final whistle, securing a 1–0 victory and another three important points.

With this win, United FC has now won all of their games in September, continuing an impressive start to the season under head coach Andrea Pirlo. Even more special, it was the first clean sheet for our goalkeeper Salem Khairi, who delivered a confident performance between the posts. Congratulations to Salem on this well-deserved achievement!

United FC now shifts focus back to the President’s Cup. The next match will be an away game against Dibba Al Hisn FC on October 3.
