Dubai United Claims First Three Points in ADNOC Pro League with a Hard-Fought Away Win Over Bani Yas

Dubai United secured its first victory of the season by defeating host Bani Yas 3–2 in the match held at Bani Yas Stadium as part of the second round of the ADNOC Pro League, claiming their first three points in the competition and rising to eighth place in the league standings.

The starting lineup chosen by Dubai United FC Italian head coach, Andrea Pirlo, featured Salem Khairi in goal, supported by a back four consisting of Nagoro Daou, Othman Jamal Eddin Othman, Marcos Souza, and Hamid Yahya. In midfield, Pirlo deployed a trio of Aniss Karimi, Mustapha Name, and Jonas Nafo, while the attacking line was led by Adeel Wgdan Alchadli, Dieu Merci, and Willy Semedo.

Dubai United entered the match with clear attacking intent, making a dream start by opening the scoring as early as the 3rd minute through star player Willy Semedo, who converted a penalty kick successfully to give his side the lead the score by which the first half concluded.

In the second half, Dubai United maintained its tactical superiority and managed to double its lead in the 57th minute via a head shot from midfielder Mustapha Name. The visitors’ offensive momentum continued when the standout Willy Semedo struck again, recording his second personal goal and Dubai United’s third in the 68th minute following a well organized team move.

Despite a late comeback attempt by Bani Yas, who managed to pull two goals back in the 76th and 78th minutes through Mohamed Awad Allah and Rocky Marciano, United displayed great defensive resilience and focus until the final whistle, sealing a valuable 3–2 away victory to claim their first three points of the ADNOC Pro League campaign.
