Hatta made the stronger start and took the lead in the 39th minute through Drissa Coulibaly, giving the visitors a 1-0 advantage heading into the interval.
Dubai United returned for the second half with greater intensity and attacking purpose, and their pressure was rewarded in the 68th minute when El Mehdi Mouhoub found the equaliser following a well-worked attacking move.
The hosts continued to push forward and completed the turnaround in the closing stages through Haris Seferović.
The experienced striker struck twice in quick succession, scoring in the 82nd and 84th minutes to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 lead and put Dubai United firmly in control.
Hatta responded almost immediately, with Dominic Simon reducing the deficit in the 86th minute, but Dubai United remained composed in the closing stages to protect their advantage and seal a valuable 3-2 victory.

Pirlo Praises Second-Half Reaction
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Dubai United head coach Andrea Pirlo praised the character and quality shown by his players, particularly their reaction after the break.
Pirlo noted that the performance and the scoreline did not always fully reflect the flow of the game, but stressed that the quality within the squad and the team’s ability to respond were evident in the second half.
The Italian coach also congratulated Haris Seferović on his two goals, highlighting the importance of scoring for a player’s confidence, particularly for a striker.
Pirlo added that goals can provide an important confidence boost and help attacking players build momentum as the season progresses.
The head coach congratulated the entire team on the victory and reiterated the importance of competing strongly in both the league and the ADIB Cup.
He stressed that Dubai United will continue to give everything and fight in both competitions as the team looks to build on the positive momentum from Thursday’s comeback victory.
