Information
Dubai United have completed their preparations for Saturday’s clash against Sharjah in Matchweek 4 of the ADNOC Pro League, with the full squad taking part in the final training session amid a positive and confident atmosphere.
Head coach Andrea Pirlo expressed his respect for the quality of the opposition while underlining his team’s belief in their ability to compete and fight for all three points.
“We know we are facing a very strong team, and it is important for us to play well and compete against a big side like Sharjah,” Pirlo said. “We respect them, but we are not afraid. We have quality, we have the right mentality, and our objective is to win.”
Dubai United head into the fixture with another boost after Pirlo was named Coach of the Month by the UAE Pro League, recognition of the positive start the Italian has overseen during the club’s first season in the ADNOC Pro League.
Mostafa Nam also stressed that the squad is ready for the challenge despite expecting a demanding contest.
“We know it will be a difficult game against a very good team with quality players, but we are ready to compete,” Nam said. “Our recent results have given us confidence and we are moving in the right direction, but we have to keep working and continue improving.”
With a full squad available and positive energy surrounding the team following their recent performances, Dubai United travel to Sharjah determined to build on their momentum and deliver another strong performance in the ADNOC Pro League.
