4-2 – It wasn’t the luckiest match, but United FC keeps going!

On the 10th of September United FC had the first game in First Division League! United FC faced Masfout FC and it was a very intense match from the very beginning. Both teams created chances but couldn’t take them until on the 22nd minute Ahmed Malalla shot the ball in the lower corner and opened the score. By the way it was his first goal for United FC! So we congratulate Ahmed on it! So after taking the lead United tried to keep the advantage. So Ali, Ahmed Sulaiman, Moussa and Mohammad played safe in the defence, so United FC went to the locker room with the score 0-1.
The second half started with Masfout FC attacking United FC’s goals and on the 53rd minute of the game our rivals evened the score. But United FC didn’t give up kept pressing. On the 69th minute Hassan entered the box and fell, so the referee decided to give a penalty kick. And Pape scored his first goal in First Division League! So United FC led the score again. Unluckily, the end of the game wasn’t really successful. United FC missed three goals on 76th, 80th and 97th minutes. So the final score was 4-2.
United FC showed its best but lost the game. However, it’s just the beginning! Our team drew a lot of conclusions and learned a lot. United FC had the same amount of chances as Masfout FC did, but the luck wasn’t on our team’s side.
Next Sunday, on the 17th of September, United FC is facing Fujairah FC. It’s going to be the first game on our new home stadium “ISD Main Pitch” in Dubai Sports City! So we welcome all the members of our United FC family to come and support our team! We are United! We are Family! We develop Class!
