Very disappointing loss! United FC did the best, but wasn’t lucky enough! – 3-2

On the 9th of October United FC went to Al Dhaid to play the away game against Al Dhaid FC. The first half started with the advantage of our team. Chelo was good at receiving the ball in attack. Pape and Karamoko did a lot as wingers. They were fast and made United FC’s opponents run a lot. So the whole team showed high class performance, but the luck wasn’t on United FC’s side. Torres, Essa and Baidy had some chances. Unfortunately, no one could take them. So both teams went to the locker rooms without scoring or missing any goal.

The second half started with the opening goal of the game. United FC was shocked because it was the first chance created inside our team’s box. So United FC had to press Al Dhaid FC to even the score. However on the 62nd minute of the game there was a counterattack and the score became “2-0”. Therefore United FC didn’t give up. The coach sent Imade and Ahmed Malalla to help the team to win. And United FC played aggressively in offence. So on the 81st minute Abdulrahman made a nice cross on the header of our captain Almed Sulaiman who scored his second goal for United FC in this season. The team quickly returned the ball to the central spot to continue the game. However Al Dhaid’s players were stalling for time. Because they didn’t want to let United FC get any point in this tough away game. So the referee added 11 minutes to the second half. And Al Dhaid’s striker had another counterattack and scored the third goal for his team. United FC fought til the very end. And Imade scored his first goal for United FC. But it wasn’t enough for the draw. So United FC didn’t take any points in this dramatic match.

Every experience is very important for the United FC. Losses can make the team even stronger. So United FC wants to draw the conclusion and show all the skills and knowledge in the next game against Dubai City FC. It’s the second round of President’s Cup. Out really needs your support! You can come to ISD Stadium Pitch or watch the game online. Let’s go United FC!
