A Thrilling Draw Against Al Dhafra FC in High-Stakes Football Showdown
On December 16th, in a thrilling match-up, United FC went head-to-head with Al Dhafra FC, a renowned team fresh from their stint in the UAE Pro League. This pivotal match served as a showcase of United FC’s ability to rival the best in Dubai football.
The game started with the top performance from both sides. Our team showed excellent skill and made a lot of crosses from both wings. Imade had some chances but, creating some exciting moments, but unfortunately, he was unable to get the ball into the back of the net. United FC played safe until the 36th minute when Al Dhafra FC had the counter attack and opened the score. After that our players tried to even the score before the half time. However, United FC headed into the locker room down by 1 goal.
The second half started with two substitutes with Ahmed Malalla and Karamoko replacing Imade and Abdulrahman Hassan. Our goalie Abdulla showed top level performance and didn’t let Al Dhafra FC double the score. In the 58th minute of the game Chelo won the tackle against our opponent’s defender, took the ball and made the assist on Pape, who scored, leveling the score and making it his 5th goal in First Division League UAE. After the goal Essa Walid and Baidy entered the match and helped United FC to finish the game without missing any other goal. So the match finished with the draw 1-1!
In the postgame interview we spoke to Essa Walid, who stated: “We played the good game against Al Dhafra FC. It was a tough match against the big team that came from Pro League UAE. And we played 1-1, and we completed this route, and we hope that we will show top performance the next game”.
