United FC Earn First Point of the Season in a 2-2 Draw Against Gulf FC

United FC played out an intense 2-2 draw against Gulf FC in their First Division League match on the 6th of October at ISD Stadium Pitch. The game was filled with action, especially in the first half, as both teams fought hard to claim their first win of the season. For United FC, the match marked the debuts of several key players, including Khaled Aljaberi, Brahima Ouattara, Brince Soussou, and the highly anticipated appearance of former Portugal National Team star Adrien Silva, who famously won UEFA Euro 2016.

The first half was a back-and-forth battle, with both teams showing determination and attacking intent from the start. Gulf FC managed to break the deadlock in the 15th minute, putting the visitors ahead early on. Despite the setback, United FC regrouped quickly, and just nine minutes later, Chelo Torres, the club’s top scorer from last season, brought the home side level with a well-taken goal in the 24th minute. The second half was less frantic but still competitive, as United FC pushed hard to find a winning goal. Adrien Silva, showing his experience and leadership in midfield, played a crucial role in controlling the tempo of the game, helping the team maintain pressure on Gulf FC’s defense.

Despite numerous attempts to take the lead, United FC couldn’t find the decisive goal.
