United FC Celebrates First League Victory with a 3-1 Win Over Hatta FC

United FC secured a decisive 3-1 victory over Hatta FC on the 26th of October at Hamdan Bin Rashid Stadium, marking the team’s first win of the 2024/2025 First Division League season. With the return of Chelo Torres from injury and debut performances from Malick Sylla and Quincy Promes, United FC’s strong lineup brought dynamic energy to the pitch. The team dominated the game, showing resilience and skill to earn three points.

From the opening whistle, United FC showed their intent to control the match, creating several early opportunities. However, the team faced an early setback in the 6th minute when Othman Jamal was forced to leave the field due to an injury. His teammates, along with the fans, are wishing him a swift recovery as he focuses on returning to full strength.

Despite this, United FC continued to push forward. In the 25th minute, Brahima Ouattara opened the scoring with a well-timed strike, giving United FC a 1-0 lead. This was Brahimas second consecutive goal, a testament to his impressive form. The goal provided a burst of energy for United FC, who looked determined to maintain control.

Ten minutes later, in the 35th minute, Manea Alruwais delivered a precise cross to Quincy Promes, who met it with a clean finish to double United’s lead to 2-0. It was a memorable moment for Promes, as he scored his debut goal for United FC. The team and fans celebrated this goal, knowing it reflected the quality and experience Promes brings to United FC.

Just before halftime, Hatta FC pulled one back in the 46th minute, cutting United’s lead to 2-1. Despite the setback, United went into halftime with the advantage and a determination to hold their lead.

The second half started with United FC focused on regaining their two-goal lead. In the 65th minute, the team’s persistence paid off when Brahima assisted Chelo Torres, who made no mistake as he struck his first goal of the season after returning from injury. This put United FC up 3-1, providing the cushion they needed to control the games tempo and keep Hatta at bay.

Chelo’s goal capped an impressive performance by United FC, and his presence on the field added strength and confidence to the squad. The team continued to press forward while maintaining a solid defense, leaving Hatta FC unable to respond.

The victory against Hatta FC is a significant milestone for United FC as they not only claimed their first three points in the league but also demonstrated the potential within the squad. The debuts of Malick Sylla and Quincy Promes, combined with the return of Chelo Torres, contributed to a cohesive and energized performance.
